While at ALA we got to read Jon Klassen’s awesome new book I Want My Hat Back. It’s really great. It reminded us that we need to keep it simple when working on stories.

This was one of a few flaming fountains we encountered walking around New Orleans. sidenote - I reached melting temperature a few times while we were there and lost at least 60 lbs in water weight from sweating.

A look at all the amazing and absurd things that have gone on behind the scenes in space programs throughout history. Roach has a nice way of combining humor and lots of research to create a really enjoyable look at any subject. See what I mean in the TED talk for her previous book about sex.

Is a fantastic cover designing extravaganza going on over at Office of Light and Letters that includes some of the absolute best cover designers ever. For serious. Like who?
